About the service

Jarak Tabekh is managed from Syria and built with love for Syria. It helps visitors discover home chefs and contact them through the details those chefs choose to share. It is intended for adults in Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Jarak Tabekh is not the seller of meals, an employer of chefs, a payment processor or a delivery service. Orders, prices, payments, collection, delivery and refunds are agreed directly between the chef and the customer. The platform does not receive or hold customer payments.

Eligibility and chef accounts

You must be at least 18 and have legal capacity to use the service. At registration, you confirm this, agree to these terms and acknowledge reading the privacy policy. The current policy versions and time of acceptance are recorded.

Use an email address you control, provide accurate information, protect your password and keep your profile current. Do not impersonate another person or create deceptive profiles. Verification of an email address confirms access to that address; it is not a background check or certification.

Chefs must choose between one and three cuisines and may publish up to six dish photos. Contact information is optional and is published only when its separate visibility setting is enabled.

Chef responsibilities and customer decisions

Chefs are responsible for the meals they offer, their descriptions, ingredients, allergen information, prices, availability, handling, storage and delivery arrangements. They must follow applicable food-safety, licensing, business and tax rules and obtain any permissions required where they operate.

Visitors should confirm prices, ingredients, allergies, dietary requirements, availability, payment and delivery conditions directly with the chef before making an arrangement. Listings and photos are supplied by chefs; we do not inspect kitchens or guarantee food safety, availability or suitability.

Do not treat a listing as medical or dietary advice. A customer with an allergy or other health concern should obtain reliable information before ordering; chefs must not make misleading safety claims.

Your content and permitted use

You keep ownership of content you submit. You must have the rights and permissions needed to publish photos, text and other information, including permission from identifiable people shown in photos.

By submitting content, you grant Jarak Tabekh a non-exclusive permission to store, process, resize and display it as needed to run the service. This permission is limited to providing the service; it does not transfer ownership or authorize unrelated advertising use. Public display ends when content is removed, subject to backup copies and lawful retention described in the privacy policy.

Do not publish unlawful, infringing, abusive, discriminatory, fraudulent or misleading content, other people’s private information without permission, or unsolicited advertising. Do not attack the service, bypass access controls, misuse accounts or collect personal information from profiles for spam or harassment.

Moderation and complaints

Administrators may review reports, request corrections, hide content or suspend or remove accounts to address spam, impersonation, unlawful content, security risks or breaches of these terms. We may act promptly where a risk requires it. Moderation does not mean that every listing has been verified.

You can report a profile, contest a moderation decision or raise a concern through support. Include relevant details and evidence without sharing unnecessary private information. We consider reports and requests under the circumstances and applicable law.

Service availability and responsibility

We work to operate the platform reliably, but interruptions, errors or changes may occur. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular number of customers or the accuracy of every chef-provided statement. External websites and services are governed by their own terms.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for the independent conduct of chefs or visitors, or for disputes arising from arrangements made directly between them. This does not exclude responsibility for our own conduct where the law requires it.

Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including applicable consumer and privacy rights or liability for fraud or other conduct for which an exclusion is prohibited. These terms do not prevent you from contacting a competent authority or seeking a remedy available under applicable law.

Leaving the platform

You can remove your content or delete your account in account settings. Deletion revokes login sessions and removes associated live application records as explained in the privacy policy. Contact support if you cannot access your account.

Account deletion does not cancel an independent agreement with a chef or customer, settle a payment dispute or automatically remove information held by another person or external service.

Changes and contact

We publish updates on this page with a revised date. Where required, we will communicate significant changes and obtain renewed agreement. A registration acceptance record covers the versions accepted at that time; it is not an invented acceptance of future versions.
