The platform is intended for people aged 18 or over with legal capacity to use it, in Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. It is not intended for children.

Information we collect

For chef accounts, we collect your email address, display name, language preference, account dates and a securely hashed password. We record the terms and privacy-policy versions acknowledged at registration and the time of acceptance. We do not store your password as readable text.

Profile information includes your biography, country, city, optional neighborhood, selected cuisines, profile photo, dish photos and descriptions, optional ingredients and allergen information, and daily menus. Contact details and social links are optional.

We process messages you send to support and records of account activity and profile changes for security and moderation. Browsers and service providers also exchange technical information needed to deliver requests, such as IP addresses and browser information. You select your location yourself; we do not request device GPS access.

Browsing does not require an account. The platform does not collect payment-card details or provide an order, payment or private messaging system. Please do not send identity documents, financial details or unnecessary sensitive information through your profile or support messages.

Why we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, verify email addresses, reset passwords, display chef profiles and menus, apply location and cuisine filters, respond to support requests, investigate fake profiles and spam, and administer the service.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on providing the service you request, meeting legal obligations, and legitimate operational and security interests where permitted and balanced against your rights. Optional publication of contact information follows your separate choice. Acknowledging this policy is not blanket consent to every use of your data.

We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising profiles. The current site does not use advertising or analytics tracking tools.

Public profiles and your choices

A complete, verified and active chef profile can be visible to anyone, including people without an account. Public information includes your display name, biography, selected location, cuisines, photos, dish information and visible daily menus. Email verification confirms access to an email address; it does not certify identity, food safety or professional qualifications.

Your account email and password are not published as account credentials. Phone numbers, WhatsApp details and social links are displayed only when you enable the separate contact-sharing setting. You can switch that setting off and edit or remove profile content in your account.

Public information may be copied, indexed by search engines or shared by other people. Removing it from our platform does not automatically remove copies held elsewhere. Avoid posting private home addresses or information about other people without their permission.

Service providers and external links

We use service providers to host the site, send account emails and display fonts. These services process information needed to operate and may do so outside your country.

Access to information is limited to authorized administrators and service providers as needed to operate, secure and support the platform. We may share information where necessary and lawful to address legal requirements, fraud or security threats.

When you open external links, such as WhatsApp or social networks, the privacy policy of the service you visit applies.

Essential cookies

We use cookies to maintain login sessions, protect forms from forged requests and remember your language. A login cookie normally lasts up to two weeks, the form-protection cookie approximately one year, and the language cookie one year, unless removed earlier or renewed through use.

The current site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. You can remove or block cookies through your browser, although login and account forms may then stop working. External services you open have their own cookie practices.

Retention and account deletion

We keep account and profile information while your account is active so that we can provide the service. You can delete individual content or delete your account in account settings.

Account deletion removes your account, profile, menus, dish records, uploaded images and related account acceptance and activity records from the live application, and revokes its login sessions. Separate support correspondence and provider records may remain where needed to resolve an outstanding matter or meet applicable legal obligations.

If backups exist, copies may remain until those backups are replaced or deleted according to the actual backup configuration. Deletion from the live service is not a promise of immediate removal from every backup or external copy. Contact support for information about retention or a specific deletion request.

Security

We use password hashing, account access controls, request protections, upload validation and restricted administrative access. We limit access to information to operational needs. No online service can guarantee complete security; use a unique password and tell support promptly if you suspect account misuse.

Your rights and requests

You can edit your profile, manage contact visibility, remove uploaded content and delete your account through account settings. You can also contact support to request access to your information, a copy, correction or deletion, or to raise an objection or ask about a use of your information.

Additional rights, including restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent or a complaint to a competent authority, depend on the law that applies to your situation. We will assess requests under that law and may ask for proportionate proof of account ownership to protect your information. Withdrawing an optional publication choice does not undo earlier lawful processing.

We do not knowingly accept accounts from people under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact support so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.

Changes to this policy

We update this page and its date when our practices change. Registration records the policy versions presented at that time. Where required, material changes will be communicated and any necessary new agreement or consent requested. Publication of an update does not retroactively turn an old acknowledgment into new consent.

For privacy questions, account deletion assistance, reports of misuse or support, email the address below. Include only the information needed to identify your account or explain the issue. Never send your password.
